The Philoptochos Society of St. George Greek Orthodox Church in Media, PA, is a dedicated philanthropic organization committed to serving those in need within our parish, local community, and beyond. Rooted in the Greek Orthodox faith and inspired by Christ’s teachings of love and compassion, our mission is to support charitable causes, provide assistance to individuals facing hardship, and contribute to national and global humanitarian efforts.

Through various fundraisers, food and clothing drives, community service projects, and outreach programs, our chapter actively works to make a difference. We proudly support initiatives such as:

• Local and National Philanthropic Efforts

• Aid to Families in Need

• Scholarships for Students

• Support for Hospitals and Nursing Homes

• Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance
